Resources for Students
You — and all young people — deserve to feel safe, respected, represented, and valued in school. You can show up as a voice for anti-racist education in your school community, and if you’re facing issues around racism at school, you can get support. Have questions or want to talk? Contact us!

Apply for funds for an anti-racist education project
Whatcom CARE has grant funds to support students in K-12 public schools in Whatcom County who are taking the initiative to create more inclusive, multicultural, and anti-racist spaces in their schools.
Funds can potentially be used to cover the costs of hosting a club meeting or event, such as for food or overhead costs, materials needed for a student-led project, books, or for compensating guest speakers.
For younger students, this form can also be filled out by a parent or teacher or other school staff member on their behalf.
